age of innocense

well, it official. im legal. i can drink all i want legally. woot. thanks to all the lovers who came and played last night. i love you all.

so this is my take on why its important to party very hard on your 21st. its the end of an era of illegal drinking and trying to get as drunk as possible because you dont know when ur next drink will come. it IS the begining of new era where you take your time, relax, and enjoy the beverage NOT for its action it posses on you but for its taste and glory.

all in all, im never drinking 13 drinks in one night ever again. and tequila is no longer in my vocabulary.

you say you want a revolution........

well you know.

beatles kick right now.

this weekend Times New Viking played the closing show for the Warhol Exhibition at the Wexner Center. They covered Velvet Underground songs and made me want to cry. They were great. I like all the noise they make.

so lovely

I remember seeing this installation by Tara Donovan, in Juxtapoz magazine in high school and always think about it now and then. Its everything I love about art. Its delicate yet strong, beautiful yet bad for the environment, its ethereal yet recognizable. I love artwork that is made from everyday objects or comments on everyday tools that we use and throw away like the world is out garbage can. This material that takes "decades" to actually decompose and is so awful for our planet is now a healthful and useful material that flourishes the space instead of deteriorates.
